Sculpture garden in California
Transporting and installing 54 marble sculptures on a steel hill with no access for power equipment such as cranes or backhoes. It took us 2 months, including site development, concrete foundations for all the sculptures, moving them by sled into position and erecting the units. No damage and no accidents, thanks to a exceptional crew!
Hindu Sculptures restored
Many years ago, my neighbor, an Indian citizen, imported a container full of historic Hindu Sculptures. He parked the sculptures in his backyard, unprotected, fully exposed to the Arizona weather, heath, rain and sometimes freezing temperature. My neighbor then got ill and his plan of exhibiting the sculptures at the Tucson Gem Show had to be postponed. In the meantime, some the sculptures fell over, some fell apart standing and every year, the harsh reality of rain and freezing temperatures took its toll. I offered him to bring them to my shop and save as many as I could muster, by reconstruction and re assembling the figures. After my neighbor died, I ended up with the sculptures. Some of them are for sale.
